This week long safari is the ideal safari for those that want to spend an extended amount of time on safari. It combines two of South Africa’s premier safari destinations to create a safari of a lifetime. Spend three nights at the Ngala Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park / Timbavati Reserve, which is home to big herds of elephants and buffalos and large prides of lions. After three nights at Ngala Safari Lodge you will fly to Kirkmans Camp in the heart of the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. This reserve is most famous for its excellent leopard sightings as well as being South Africa premier Big Five reserve.

Day 1: Ngala Safari Lodge
On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will be met by a representative from Federal Air and transferred the short distance to their executive lounge. From here you will catch the Federal Air Flight to Ngala, there are 2 daily flights to Ngala. The flight takes just over and hour and on arrival at Ngala’s Airstrip you will be met by your ranger and transferred to Ngala Safari Lodge . A warm welcome awaits you at Ngala Safari Lodge you will be orientated to the camp and shown to your room by your hosts. Ngala Private Game Reserve was the first private concession in the Kruger National Park and the land belongs to the World Wildlife Fund. The game viewing here is spectacular, reknown for its large herds of elephant, big herds of buffalo, large prides of lions, this is untamed African game viewing at its very best. Game viewing is enjoyed is enjoyed in the company of extremely well trained rangers and trackers, in open vehicles, enjoy bush walks and night game drives. Ngala Safari Lodge is warm and welcoming. Catering equally well for families, honeymooners and those looking for a friendly and convivial atmosphere. You will spend three nights at Ngala Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Kirkmans Camp
This morning you will enjoy a final morning on safari at Ngala Safari Lodge. Return to Ngala Safari Lodge for your well earnt breakfast. After breakfast your ranger will transfer you back to the airstrip for your flight to Skukuza. On arrival at Skukuza you will be met by your ranger from Kirkmans Camp who will transfer you to Kirkmans. Kirkmans Camps is your destination for the next 3 nights. Located in the world famous Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, Kirkmans camp is named after Harry Kirkman one of South Africa’s foremost and original conservationists. The Sabi Sands reserve is home to the Big Five but most famous for its unsurpassed sightings of Leopards. Your ranger will take you out in open vehicles to enjoy ‘up close and personal’ sightings of these beautiful cats. In the Sabi Sands you can enjoy Night Drives and off road driving ensuring that you get the best photographic opportunities. The Sabi Sands is commonly regarded as South Africa’s premier game reserve.

Day 7: Day of Departure
Sadly today is your last day on safari. This morning you will enjoy a final morning on safari before checking out of Kirkmans Camp. You will be transferred to Skukuza Airstrip for your flight to Johannesburg. There are twice daily flights to Johannesburg enabling you to connect with most international flights.
