How to get there |

There are several ways of getting to the Kruger Park Sabi Sands Area . When planning to visit the Sabi Sand, keep in mind the average travel time it will take for you to reach your destination. You can either travel by road, which will take you approximately 5 hours (depending on which lodge you intend to visit) or you can travel by air (which we would strongly recommend!)

There are so many lodges to choose from, and that is why it is best to speak to one of our expert safari consultants to assist you when making a decision. It all starts with budget. The ultra-luxurious Singita and Londolozi lodges are but some of a few to mention, but for good deals we also offer luxury safaris with great deals that will suit anyone’s pocket. Generally the lodges outside of the Sabi Sand offer competitive pricing, but remember, ultimately it is all about the quality of game viewing!

Walking Safaris in the Sabi Sand and Kruger |

Most of the lodges in the Sabi Sand and Kruger offer walking safaris as part of your experience when staying at the lodge. Walking Safaris normally take place after the morning game drive and breakfast. You will be accompanied by at least 2 armed game rangers, safety of course comes first! A walking safari will give you a whole new perspective on the South African Bush and you will also get the opportunity to get closer to some lesser dangerous animals!
Discuss with your ranger before you depart on the walking safari on what you could possibly expect, how far you will be walking and of course, make sure you have enough to drink should it be a warm day! Walking Safaris are also subject to weather so make sure you check with the lodge staff if the walk will be possible.
