General Information
Chobe Chilwero is the most luxurious lodge that borders the Chobe National Park. Chilwero means "place of high view" in the local language of Setswana. The lodge sits above the Chobe River and offers unparalleled views across the islands and flood plains as far as Namibia. Chobe Chilwero has 15 bungalows with all the five star conveniences you would expect. The main public area includes a lounge and dining room, which are linked to outdoor viewing patios. The new Spa has opened and offers a range of spa and hydrotherapy treatments. Game viewing takes places in the Chobe National Park the area being home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa as well as an abundance of hippo, buffalo, antelope and lion. Enjoy game drives into the National Park and motorized safaris on the river where you can enjoy sundowner cruises and early morning boat cruises.
