Morne is passionate about all the things that make Ghecko Events and Safaris and its subsidiary companies tick ! Golf and Safaris. Morne was born just outside the Kruger Park, in the city of Nelspruit. He has worked in the South African Tourism Industry for many years and has had a wide variety of experiences and stories to tell ! It was in 2001 with this experience and expertise that Morne and his partner Jo Baker founded Ghecko Events, Ghecko Safaris and Pro Golf Safaris. Dedicated to providing tailor-made luxury itineraries this portfolio of companies is managed by Morne who is passionate about providing individual attention to each and every one of his guests.

It was all part of "getting to know oneself" that encouraged Jo to go and travel around the world and take a working holiday to Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. The travel bug had bitten and after travelling in the East – Jo returned to South Africa and studied Travel and Tourism. Jo is experienced in all markets including Italian, Thai, Russian and now predominantly British and American. Jo comes from a background of working in Events and Functions and therefore is highly organized and detailed, and the perfect person to help you plan your trip to Africa. Well travelled throughout South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, Jo is a partner and one of the founders of Ghecko Safaris.
